Two days ago you may have noticed Google’s Page Rank algorithm was updated. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, download the Google toolbar, and then read up on PR’s importance as it relates to SEO. Said importance is up for heated debate, but it’s at least a good barometer as to how your site is viewed by the search giants. It’s a mark out of 10, with 4 topping the average, 5 being extremely good and 6 being great. 7, 8s and 9s are reserved for the CNN and BMWs of the world.

Squidoo is a very new entity, the private beta having been launched in October, and the speed at which it’s being noticed, appreciated and indexed by Google is astounding. Lenses that I built a little over 2 months ago already have PRs of 4/10. My Red Sox, North End and Sopranos pages in particular are pulling in traffic and surprising the pants off of me. So again, as I said yesterday, include a little Squidoo in your SEO strategy. You won’t be disappointed!
